What a miracle to have lived a life of ART!
It´s daunting to go through my art career output. Truly. I have created within an unrelenting tsunami of creative expression– wether there were funds or not- the passion to create anew was never ending. My studios in the late ´80s and early ´90s were located in the Queen St. West era of Toronto, Canada, usually dirty warehouses with a lot of space and little amenities. Always the first step was a deep clean, then rudimentary kitched set up , and a mostly hidden futon bed spot.
These studios were epi-centers of charcoal drawings, nudes, mythic meadow landscapes, oil pastel drawings on massive French acid free papers– explosions of moments alive.
These were interspersed with oil paintings, urban totems on wood, installations, performance art. So many so many moments, styles, portals, beings, colour and atmospheric works, portraits and spirit portraits. I was inspired always and I did not refrain.

“The Fire Horse Series” for Fire Horse Year
Winter & Spring I was captivated by the Fire Horse– so aware of my old reality speeding away, deep transformation occurring, daily shedding of hidden hooked on energy, while simultaneously-experiencing a profound blossoming.
Daily painting sessions were whirls of colours, deep breaths, daily dances within bubbling joy grounding more and more into the body as denser energies internally melted away. I felt the shedding of old hooked-on energies as the Fire Horses illuminate raw new frequencies into our realities. The act of painting is life transformative to me— all this work is still ongoing internally and the need to paint more of these creatures is calling me still.
2026 Year of the Fire Horse Series
“The Fire Horse Series” for this Fire Horse Year – a little story.
While in Costa Rica, Winter & Spring 2026, I became captivated by the Fire Horse– searching out an image of a horse that spoke to me of its wild nature. I chose an image of. a wild Icelandic horse, as a point of entry… a being who oozed gentleness, and pure love. I left Toronto for five years, making a new landing place in Central America and living through deep transformation. A new language, a new culture, a new reality along with being an empty nester with no nest anymore. The shedding of our old reality was no longer a hidden concept– Mine was in hyper-drive.
The old “hooked on energy” that was riding on my coattails for decades became something my awareness was addressing daily, dissolving, making new choices, new decisions, sufferring through lonliness, dissociation, identity collapse– while simultaneously-experiencing a profound blossoming.

The Fire Horses illuminate raw new frequencies into your reality, home, office, or public space. Collectors have snapped up all current originals, some even before they were finished.
